For students wishing to either work or study abroad, or both, internationally recognised qualifications clearly are very important and open doors to opportunities. What is probably less understood is that the BTEC qualifications qualify students to enter almost any English speaking international univeristy (UK, USA, Canada, New Zealnad, Australia, South Africa, India, Europe, etc.), the requirement that the awarding institution needs to have firm, almost contractual relationships, with educational institutions abroad is unnecessary. Usually, educational institutions which do not award internationally recognised qualifications have to enter into these kinds of relationships.
