News - Plato UMD Offered a Stage for Experimental Theatre Performance Print

theatre2Plato UMD, following its mission to contribute to the cultural advancement of Bishkek and offer young Kyrgyz artists a platform to create and experiment, hosted a premiere of the drama one-actor performance A Woman Alone and Other Plays. A play by the famous Italian playwrights Dario Fo and Franka Ramey was given a new interpretation by a talented Kyrgyz actress Galina Ketova and prominent director Aliakuli Hadjikuli from the Russian Drama Theater. Alexander Yurtaev, a prominent Kyrgyz musician, arranged music accompaniment and Anatoliy Kolesnikov, a talented Kyrgyz artist, produced decorations for the performance.

 

 

The A Woman Alone and Other Plays performance featured a life of ordinary woman, who for a number of reasons, was kept isolated but managed to continue her life.
