Plato University of Management and Design which pursues an ambitious mission to contribute to the cultural advancement of Bishkek and the region continues its Arts&Culture Event Series. This time the university welcomed its old and new friends, partners, distinguished guests, faculty and students to an impressive art and theatre exhibition entitled “Power of Magic Arts”.
The first breath-taking impressive surprise awaited the guests at the entrance to the university as they were welcomed to the extraordinary ornate hall of the Plato UMD. Anatoly Kolesnikov’s, who is a young yet renowned Kyrgyz artist, latest artworks immediately attracted attentions of the guests. Intrigued by the Manipulated Mind, the Sources of the Crest, the Life and What Is Left In the Aftermath, Through The Hourglass of Apocalypses, the Trap of Globalization of Anatoly Kolesnikov the guests of the Plato UMD’s Arts&Culture Event Series could hardly guess what the next artistic improvisation or performance would follow.
Soon after the guests discussed the impressive artworks, they were welcomed to join the fantastic fashion-show organized by the Kyrgyz famous glamorous designer Olga Stogova. Models all dressed up in Stogova’s creative wedding gowns from her 1993-2010 wedding collections were posing on the improvised podium.
The evening of arts and culture culminated by a spectacular song and dance performance organized by an experimental art studio ARTeria who impressed the guests, faculty and students of the university by their creative theatric improvisations.
